Benefits of Yoga

Yoga is beneficial for your heart, mind, and overall body wellness. Yoga can reduce the risk of heart disease, as it lowers your cholesterol while increasing your heart rate. Yoga can improve your flexibility, boost your energy, and improve your balance and endurance. Moreover, it can help you relax and improve your sleep quality.

Experiencing stomach issues? Yoga will help improve your metabolism and digestion. Yoga is even proven to bring oxygen to the brain, which will help calm the mind and improve your focus. I find that yoga even reduces migraines and my boosts positive thinking.

Doesn't that sound like a long of things we could all benefit from? So grab a mat and improve your day!

My favorite thing about yoga is how many different kinds exist. Whether I am looking for a fat-burning flow or a gentle stretch, there is a practice for every mood.

While I miss doing yoga in the studio during these uncertain times, you can find just about any type on YouTube. Even though my dog gets in the way, I have to say that I've enjoyed practicing yoga from home.

Boho Beautiful is my favorite instructor on YouTube. She offers guided practices that vary in length and style -- plus the views from around the world are just beautiful and peaceful. I like to roll my mat shortly after waking up but a good stretch is also nice right before bed.
